‘Azhinjattam’ song sparks mixed reactions: Lyrics of Dileep's ' Bha. Bha. Ba' song face criticism

The makers of director Dhananjay Shankar’s action entertainer ‘Bha Bha Ba’ have released the film’s first song ‘Azhinjattam’ on the last day. The film stars Dileep, Mohanlal, and Vineeth Sreenivasan in key roles. While some fans enjoyed the energy of the song, others felt disappointed, especially with thethe lyrics in the starting portion which goes like ‘Chilark Makana.. Chilark nanmbana..’

Praise for Mohanlal and Dileep

Many viewers liked the dance portions featuring Mohanlal and Dileep. One Tweet read, “With more listens song gets better, and with visuals #Dileep and realOG #mohanlal thook.” Another fan wrote, “Ettan is on absolute azhinjattam mode, surprisingly Dileep also looks too good.” For these fans, the visuals and star power worked well.

Strong criticism for lyrics and music

At the same time, a section of netizens strongly criticised the lyrics written by Vinayak Sasikumar and the music composed by Shaan Rahman. One disappointed listener said, “#BhaBhaBa’s first single Azhinjattam has left me disappointed. The only redeeming quality is lalettan’s energy.” Another blunt comment read, “Lyrics is so bad.” Some also felt that music is the weakest part of the film’s updates so far.

Some fans warming up to the songNot all reactions were negative. A few listeners said the song improved after repeated listens. One comment noted, “The whole is avg but really liked this portion of the song when hearing it in loop!” Another fan shared hope, saying the song could work better on the big screen with strong visuals and theatre sound.

Box office buzz remains strong

Despite the mixed response to the song, ‘Bha. Bha. Ba’ continues to enjoy huge pre-release excitement. Reports say the film has already earned over Rs 1 crore through opening-day pre-sales. Sharing ticket sale details, AB George tweeted that more than ten thousand tickets are being booked every hour online. The film’s writer Fahim Safar reacted to this positive news with a simple word: “Love.”
